National Stakes Tips
National Stakes tips include backing proven juveniles with previous Group race experience and those with a previous win over the 1200m distance.
Backing the fillies over the colts and geldings is a key National Stakes betting tips as the girls boast an outstanding record in the event. From 2004-2022, 12 of the 19 National Stakes winners were fillies including most recently Heresy (2021).
In 2022 the boys were on top with the Victorian-trained colt Maximillius scoring an upset over the better-fancied fillies See You In Heaven (2nd) and Aitch Two Oh (3rd).

- To Win: #4 See You In Heaven
Going too good to ignore, this Richard & Chantelle Jolly-trained Divine Prophet filly gets the run of the race from the inside alley chasing a third win on the trot. She’s three-from-four her career and debuted with a Group 3 Ottawa Stakes win at Flemington in the spring. Defeated first-up at home when third as the odds-on favourite, but quick to atone securing back-to-back Morphettville wins including her last start two length victory in the Group 3 Breeders Stakes (1200m) at this track/distance. Likely too good again.
