Misfiring giants Chelsea and Liverpool meet in the first match of Week 11 of the English Premier League, in round that will also see Crystal Palace attempt a return to winning form at home against Manchester United.
Manchester City can remain atop standings with success over Norwich, while Arsenal will keep the pressure on the Sky Blues if they can see off Swansea City in Wales.
We’re offering the best odds on all ten matches in Week 11 of the English Premier League!
Chelsea vs Liverpool
For their standards, Chelsea have been nothing short of awful this season and enter week 11 of the Premier League fifteenth overall and off the back of another loss to West Ham. Having also crashed out of the League Cup at the hands of Stoke City midweek, Chelsea will have to do something to snap their poor run of form whether they like it or not, and that may culminate in the sacking of coach Jose Mourinho. Liverpool have contested a similarly disappointing start to their campaign, but already look like making inroads since the appointment of Jurgen Klopp and were unlucky not to win last weekend. As these are two ‘Big 4’ clubs that have been struggling, it’s hard to tell which way this match with fall and a draw arguably offers the best value for money.
Eden Hazard scores and Chelsea wins: $5
Phillipe Coutinho scores and Liverpool wins: $10
West Bromwich Albion vs Leicester City
Leicester have stunned the Premier League world with their continued excellent run of form this year and sit a pleased fifth; well and truly in touch with the top of the table and appear as though they will give some of the big clubs a real run for their money for a European berth towards the latter stages of the season. West Brom have yet to register strong and consistent form but do sit comfortably clear of the drop zone, mid-table on 14 competition points. Both teams scored tough wins in week 10 and this match is sure to be a thriller as a result. West Brom at home are a far-better prospect than away, but Leicester in current touch will probably be too good.
Saido Berahino scores and West Brom wins: $6
Shinji Okazaki scores and Leicester wins: $7
Crystal Palace vs Manchester United
While somewhat falling out of form through recent weeks, Crystal Palace have posted several impressive results on their way to seventh in the Premier League and will view this week’s match with Manchester United, at Selhurst Park, as a good opportunity to return to winning form have lost their last two fixtures. United played out a gritty nil-all draw with bitter rivals City in week 10 and were probably unlucky not to win after a Jesse Lingard chip was narrowly tapped away late in the game. United have continued to improve through recent weeks and figure as a monumental task for the Eagles, but a draw is definitely a possibility in London.
Yannick Bolasie scores and Crystal Palace wins: $11
Wayne Rooney scores and Manchester United wins: $4.50
Newcastle United vs Stoke City
Newcastle dreadful run of form continued in week 10 when they went down to fierce rivals Sunderland in the Tyne-Wear Derby, and sit second-last overall on only six competition points. Stoke City have continued to steadily find condition through the last five weeks, and will have taken plenty of confidence from their mid-week League Cup win over Chelsea. Even considering this match is yet to be played at St James Park, Newcastle’s form makes them impossible to tip and Stoke offer sensational value for money at current odds in win-draw-win markets.
Georginio Wijnaldum scores and Newcastle wins: $7
Bojan scores and Stoke wins: $8
Manchester City vs Norwich City
City were charged with overcoming United at Old Trafford last week, and while rarely looking like scoring themselves, rallied well in defence to ensure a draw and split bragging rights. Having returned to competition in exceptional touch this season, the Sky Blues remain top of the Premier League on 22 competition points; tied with Arsenal but ahead on for and against. Norwich began their campaign well but have slipped out of form through recent weeks and sit sixteenth; agonizingly close to the drop zone. There really is no comparison between these two teams – City deserve to be favourites and will probably win comfortably.
Yaya Toure to scores and Manchester City wins: $3
Dieumerci Mbokani scores and Norwich wins: $29
Watford vs West Ham United
The week’s only London Derby will be played out early Sunday morning Australian time when the in-form West Ham face Watford away from home. Watford have continued to build repour as a serious Premier League mainstay this campaign and return home off the back of an impressive 2-0 win over Stoke at Britannia Stadium in Week 10. West Ham have the opportunity to go top of the league with success this weekend and with a few other results going their way, and enter this match in exceptional form having beaten Chelsea most recently. West Ham offer incredible value as outsider and are more than worth consideration for a bet as outsiders this weekend.
Odion Ighalo scores and Watford wins: $6
Dimitri Payet scores and West Ham wins: $7
Swansea City vs Arsenal
Swansea snapped a five game winless streak with an impressive performance to see off Aston Villa last weekend, but face an uphill battle in continuing their winning ways against Arsenal in Week 11. Swansea have only suffered a couple of defeats this year and remain 12th overall on 13 competition points. Arsenal on the other hand have registered exceptional form this season, and while suffering the odd hiccup here and there remain tied at the top of the ladder with Manchester City and will be aiming for their fifth consecutive win at the Liberty Stadium this weekend. Swansea are sure to launch a spirited fight but it remains very hard to look past Arsenal.
Bafetimbi Gomis scores and Swansea wins: $10
Olivier Giroud scores and Arsenal wins: $3.50
Everton vs Sunderland
Everton have started their 2015/16 campaign in typical fashion – winning some and losing some on their way to a firm eleventh in overall standings. Winless since week 7, the Toffees will undoubtedly view this match as an ideal opportunity to return to winning form. Sunderland were winless until their impressive 3-0 win over Newcastle last weekend, but it is hard to tell if that performance was simply because they were playing their fiercest rivals, or if they are indeed starting to click. Regardless, Everton at home are class and should have no issue in winning this fixture.
Romelu Lukaku scores and Everton wins: $2.75
Jeremain Lens scores and Sunderland wins: $21
Southampton vs Bournemouth
The ever-dangerous Southampton return home off the back of a spirited 1-1 draw with a rejuvenated Liverpool to play the out of sorts Bournemouth, who have continued to slip down the ladder to seventeenth position overall. Southampton are perhaps yet to find full form this campaign but remain eighth overall after a number of consistent results. Bournemouth have leaked ten goals in their two most recent matches, but those were against Manchester City and Tottenham, and they are far-more likely to produce an improved effort against the Saints. Southampton at St Marys however will be too good.
Graziano Pelle scores and Southampton wins: $3
Matt Ritchie scores and Bournemouth wins: $21
Tottenham Hotspur vs Aston Villa
In what could be one of the more one-sided matches in Week 11 of the Premier League, Tottenham host Aston Villa at White Hart Lane; the away side having sacked Manager Tim Sherwood following last week’s disappointing loss to Swansea and an all-round poor start to the season. Tottenham became the first team to defeat Manchester City this year and having continued their good run of form through recent weeks; culminating in a 5-1 demolition of Bournemouth in Week 10. In London, it’s hard to see any result other than a Tottenham triumph.
Harry Kane scores and Tottenham wins: $2.50
Rudy Gestede scores and Villa wins: $19
