Atlanta Hawks vs Detroit Pistons
10.35am AEDT

Pistons To Win @ $1.95

The Detroit Pistons are having their best season for a number of years and they can continue their run to the playoffs with a win over the Atlanta Hawks. Both these teams have been profitable betting propositions this season, but the Pistons have an excellent record in front of their home fans and have beaten the line in 19 of their 29 games at The Palace Of Auburn Hills. The home court advantage gives them the edge here and they are a good bet at their current quote.

New York Knicks vs Golden State Warriors
1.35pm AEDT

Knicks To Beat The Line (+15 points)

The Golden State Warriors will win this game, but whether they can beat the line is another question. The New York Knicks have beaten the line in five of their last six games and they are an outstanding 19-9 against the line as away underdogs. The point start of 15 points does seem excessive and the Warriors have leaked some big totals against them in the past fortnight, while the Knicks will not give up on defense.

Seton Hall vs Gonzaga
12.55pm AEDT

Gonzaga To Win @ $1.87

This is one of the most interesting games of the opening round of the 2016 March Madness Tournament and an excellent betting opportunity. Seton Hall are the higher seed here, but Gonzaga are the better basketball team in all measurable metrics – they average almost five points a game more than their rivals. Gonzaga have a team that is full of players with plenty of big game experience, while Seton Hall don’t really have the tournament pedigree of their rivals.

Butler vs Texas Tech
5.45am AEDT

Butler To Beat The Line (4.5 points)

Butler suffered a surprise loss to Providence in their final game before the start of the Marc Madness Tournament, but before that they had won their previous three games. They have beaten the line in eight of their past ten fixtures and they remain a school that is consistently underrated by the market. Texas Tech have had a good season from a betting perspective, but their record as underdogs is poor and they don’t have the quality to keep up with a firing Butler side.
