Daily Sports Tips – Friday 22nd April

Hawthorn vs Adelaide
7.50pm AEST

Adelaide To Beat The Line (+16.5 Points)

Adelaide have made an excellent start to the 2016 AFL season and they were nothing short of outstanding against Sydney last weekend. The Crows have a 9-6 record against the line in the past 12 months, while the Hawks are 4-7 as home favourites. The Crows will turn this into a genuine contest and they are a great bet with a start of 16.5 points.

Brisbane Broncos vs South Sydney Rabbitohs
7.50pm AEST

Brisbane Broncos To Beat The Line (-14.5 Points)

The Brisbane Broncos put up a big score against the Newcastle Knights last weekend and they are 10-5 against the line as home favourites in the past 12 months. The South Sydney Rabbitohs have been extremely poor in recent weeks and their record as underdogs is shocking. This will be close early, but the Broncos will be too strong in the end.

Adelaide United vs Melbourne City
7.35pm AEST

Melbourne City To Win @ $3.50

There has been very little between the best sides in the A-League this season, but at their best the Melbourne City combination of Aaron Mooy and Bruno Fornaroli is the best in the A-League. Melbourne City have a great record against Adelaide and they won a number of games as underdogs this season. There is no way that they should be as long as $3.50.

Rebels vs Cheetahs
7.45pm AEST

Cheetahs To Beat The Line (+5.5 Points)

The Cheetahs come into this game on the back of a 92-17 landslide against the Sunwolves and they face a Rebels side that is low on confidence. The Rebels have failed to flatter as home favourites this season and they are just 1-3 against the line in this scenario, while the Cheetahs have covered the spread against some of the best teams in the competition.
