GWS Giants vs Carlton
4.35pm AEST

GWS Giants To Beat The Line (-40.5 Points)

Greater Western Sydney were given a scare by Essendon last week and they will be keen to avoid a repeat against Carlton. The Giants have an outstanding record at Spotless Stadium and they have beaten the line in six of their past seven games as home favourites. Carlton have just two of their past 12 games as away underdogs and should be outclassed in this clash.

Cronulla Sharks vs New Zealand Warriors
5.30pm AEST

Cronulla Sharks To Beat The Line (-9.5 Points)

Cronulla have been in simply outstanding form and they have won ten games on the trot. They have won eight of their past ten games as home favourites and they are 17-9 against the line in the past 12 months. The Warriors have beaten the line in just one of their past seven games as away underdogs and all signs point to a big Sharks win.

Switzerland vs Poland
11.00pm AEST

Draw @ $2.88

This is a big opportunity for both these sides and I expect both to come up with a very conservative mindset. They both struggled to score goals in the pool stage and they are both well-organised defensively. The draw is clearly the most likely option and over the odds at the current price of $2.88.

Wales vs Northern Ireland
2.00am AEST

Wales To Win @ $2

Wales were nothing short of outstanding against Russia and they face a Northern Ireland side that qualified for the second round despite losing two games. Northern Ireland were very tough against Germany, but the weight of possession in this fixture will be too great and Wales will find the goal they need to progress to the quarter-finals.
