Daily Racing Tips – Monday 11th July
Globe Derby - Race 3 3.04pm AEST
No. 4 Real Major
Regal Major is a very consistent gelding and he may never have a better chance to return to winning form. He has easily the best time over this track and distance to his name and his last start effort at the same venue is good enough to win this race.
Globe Derby - Race 4 3.42pm AEST
No. 9 Aldebaran Daisy
Aldebaran Daisy won in impressive style last start and there is no reason why she can’t make it two wins on the trot. Her record at Globe Derby is excellent and her best time over this track and distance is superior to any other horse in this field. This looks like an excellent race for her and she will be tough to beat.
Globe Derby - Race 6 5.00pm AEST
No. 9 Kissed Flush
Kissed Flush may be nine-years-old, but he is still facing in very good form. He is an 1800 metres specialist and this track and distance is where he is at his best. He has two wins from his past five starts and a repeat of that level of performance would put him right in the finish. I am more than happy to back this veteran again.
Cobram - Race 7 4.04pm AEST
No. 3 Illawong Fantasia
Illawong Fantasia does not win out of turn, but she finds herself in a very open race this afternoon. She does not have a great record at Cobram, but her last victory did come at the venue and her best time is superior to any other horse in this field. She can be a factor in the finish at big odds.
