Flemington - Race 4 1.00pm AEST
No. 4 Faatinah
Faatinah returned to the races with an impressive victory in the Bobbie Lewis Quality and this race is no tougher. He clearly relished the Flemington straight first-up and his second-up record is strong. He makes his own luck from on the speed and he is a much better bet than Under The Louvre at his current price.
Flemington - Race 5 1.35pm AEST
No. 1 Almoonqith
Almoonqith has not done a great deal in either of his race starts this preparation, but he will relish the step-up to 2500 metres. This is not a particularly strong edition of The Bart Cummings and his best form is easily good enough to win this race.
Flemington - Race 6 2.15pm AEST
No. 5 Eleonora
Eleonora is a genuine Crown Oaks contender. It took her a while to run down her rivals in her Australian racing debut, but there was a great deal to like about the way she savaged the line in the final stages. She will absolutely relish the step-up to a mile and she has the benefit of Damien Oliver in the saddle.
Flemington - Race 7 2.55pm AEST
No. 4 Hartnell
Hartnell has been nothing short of outstanding during the 2016 Spring Racing Carnival and he produced career-best performances in both the Chelmsford Stakes and the Hill Stakes. He maps to get a dream run with James McDonald in the saddle and he has a clear class edge over the rest of this field.
