Gosford - Race 4 3.10pm AEDT
No. 3 Imposing Lass
Imposing Lass has improved each start this preparation and she should be ready to peak third-up. If she improves on her second-up effort she can go to a level that can’t be matched by the majority of this field. The barrier draw is a touch awkward, but she is still the horse to beat and is good value at the current price.
Gosford - Race 5 3.50pm AEDT
No. 2 Destiny’s Kiss
Destiny’s Kiss is not getting any younger, but he produced one of the best performances of his career to win the Tattersalls Club Cup last start. The drop back in distance is an advantage as he will have a fitness edge over the majority of his rivals and there is no reason he can’t win this race for the second year in a row. He is super value at the current price.
Gosford - Race 6 4.25pm AEDT
No. 1 Ball Of Muscle
A lack of fitness told late when Ball Of Muscle resumed in the Canterbury Classic and he is sure to have taken plenty of benefit from that run. He is unbeaten at Gosford, this is his best trip and his second-up record is strong. He is the class horse of the field and he has the benefit of Damien Oliver in the saddle.
Gosford - Race 7 5.05pm AEDT
No. 4 Art Nouveau
Art Nouveau’s first-up effort was better than it looks on paper as he did not have a great deal of running and he got too far back in transit. He can settle closer from barrier four with James Doyle in the saddle and he is a horse that generally takes a big leap forward second-up. He is an outstanding each-way bet at the current price.
