Muswellbrook - Race 5 3:05pm AEST

No. 8 Hunter Caulfield

Hunter Caulfield returned to the races with a solid fourth at Scone last start and the form coming out of that race has been very strong. He has clearly had his issues, but he is one of the few horses in this race that has any real upside. The wide barrier draw gives Threadwell plenty of options as the Duporth gelding has shown some tactical versatility during his racing career to date.

Canberra - Race 3 1.35pm AEST

No. 13 Citizen's Arrest

The stable of Jason Coyle has been absolutely flying in the past month and Citizen’s Arrest looks well-placed this afternoon. She produced the best performance of her career to finish a close third at Gosford last start and this race is not up to that standard. She gets a lovely trail into this race and is great value at the current price.

Muswellbrook - Race 8 4.55pm AEST

No. 4 Invicta

Invicta failed to fire first-up at Gosford, but he is a better horse than that performance suggests. His winning record isn’t great, but he has produced a number of decent efforts during his racing career and has form around some nice horses. This really isn’t the strongest race and the Rothesay gelding is over the odds at his current price.

Cranbourne - Race 8 9.30pm AEST

No. 2 Haradafull

Haradafull tried to throw his rider shortly after the start first-up and was never able to get into the race. If you ignore that run – which I am prepared to at the current price – and go on his previous form he actually has a class edge over the rest of this field. The betting for him first-up suggested that he was ready to run well and he is worth a gamble at the current price.
