Doomben - Race 3 1.22pm AEST

No. 1 High Midnight

High Midnight was excellent when he finished second behind Jungle Edge in the BRC Sprint and that form was franked in the Darley Kingsford-Smith Cup last weekend. His second-up record is nothing short of outstanding and the James Cummings-trained horse really does look to have a class edge on the rest of this field.

Doomben - Race 7 3.59pm AEST

No. 2 Egg Tart

The drop back to 2200 metres and the move to Doomben really do make the Queensland Oaks an ideal race for Egg Tart. We saw in the Australasian Oaks that she is capable of reeling off impressive sectionals at the end of a staying trip that can’t be matched by any other horse in this field.

Doomben - Race 8 4.33pm AEST

No. 8 Bonny O’Reilly

Bonny O’Reilly is a lightly-raced mare that simply keeps on improving every time that she is seen at the races. She has now recorded four wins from her past four starts and the form around her this preparation has been very strong. She maps to get a lovely run right on the speed and can continue her winning ways.

Moonee Valley - Race 6 3:28pm AEST

No. 2 Have Another Glass

Have Another Glass has been absolutely flying this campaign and this is a significant drop in class. She was only denied by the talented Amelie’s Star in the Queen Of The South Stakes and she had no luck in running in the Centaurea Stakes. The drop back in trip should suit and she is clearly the horse to beat.
