Pakenham - Race 3 2.30pm AEST
Captivator has form around the likes of Jukebox and Eshtiraak and this is easily the biggest race that he has contested during his career to date. His recent jump out at Flemington was good and he maps to get a lovely trail into this race just behind the speed. This is his opportunity to record a maiden race win.
Pakenham - Race 4 3:10pm AEST
Valderrama has taken a really liking to the Synthetic surface and he has four wins from his five race starts on this kind of track, while he is still chasing his first win on the turf. He has produced very impressive closing sectionals to win his past two race starts at Geelong and the form coming out of those races has been strong.
Pakenham - Race 7 4.45pm AEST
Fica Gal has two wins from as many race starts this preparation and she is good value to carry on her winning ways this afternoon. She is a genuine 1000 metres specialist and she will be able to take up the running with Daniel Stackhouse in the saddle. She loves the synthetic and she will be tough to get past late.
Scone - Race 7 4.05pm AEST
Barricade has gone to another level this preparation and he has recorded three wins from his past four starts. His only loss came when he had no luck when second in a Highway Handicap at Royal Randwick and if he is able to maintain that level of form he will be very tough to beat again. I like the fact that he is on the quick back-up after winning last Friday.
