Wyong - Race 5 3.20pm AEST

No. 6 Rosa Carolina

Rosa Carolina doesn’t have a great winning record, but she has generally raced in very strong company. She finished a very close second in the South Pacific Classic and that is really good form for a race of this quality. She has drawn wide, but that is an advantage as she will be able to track into the race with Hugh Bowman in the saddle.

No. 2 Imposing Lass

Imposing Lass found the line nicely to finish a close third in the Toy Show Quality first-up and she is a mare that generally goes to another level second-up. She maps to get a lovely trail just behind the leaders with Tim Clark in the saddle and this time she should be able to finish over the top of Sweet Redemption.

Wyong - Race 7 4.35pm AEST

No. 2 Dee I Cee

I am keen to oppose the odds-on favourite Sayed in the Wyong Gold Cup. He had every chance last start and really does look well and truly under the odds at his current price. Dee I Cee produced one of the best performances of his career to win the Premier’s Cup and if he can replicate that effort he will be in the finish. He makes his own luck right on the speed and will be tough to get past late.

Wyong Race 8 - Race 8 5:10pm AEST

No. 7 Piracy

The market has this as a race in two between Piracy and Raiden and they are both promising horses, but I am siding with Piracy. He beat a handy field to break his maiden at Warwick Farm last start and I like the fact that James Cummings has given him a barrier trial in between starts. He will likely take up the running and will be tough to run down late.
