Cranbourne - Race 6 8.35pm AEDT
Open House returned to the races with a fighting win over this track and distance at Cranbourne and she is well-placed to make it two wins on the trot. She still has plenty of scope to improve on her first-up effort and if she does that she can go to a level that can’t be matched by any other horse in this field.
Cranbourne - Race 7 9:00pm AEDT
Smart As You Think does not have a great overall winning record, but she is well-placed in the Pinker Pinker Plate. She has improved each time that she has been seen at the races this preparation and she made up serious ground late in both the Let’s Elope Stakes and Stocks Stakes. This is a drop in class and the step-up in trip will suit.
Cranbourne - Race 8 9.30pm AEDT
Deported made his Australian racing debut with a very tough win at Cranbourne and he should only benefit from that experience. This race is not much tougher and he is a very likeable horse that makes his own luck right on the speed. He can make it two wins from as many starts in Australia.
Cranbourne - Race 9 10.00pm AEDT
A Mist Opportunity failed to fire first-up at Caulfield, but she was caught wide throughout and she had genuine excuses. This is a big drop back in class and this is probably the weakest race that she has contested during her racing career to date. There is plenty of speed in this race and she will get the last shot at them.
