Illawarra Hawks vs Sydney Kings

Illawarra Hawks to Win -4.5 Points

Illawarra will be eager to respond to a 31 point drubbing from the Perth Wildcats on Thursday night and they get their chance against the struggling Sydney Kings. This is the second meeting between these sides with the Kings winning the last meeting 103-87 but I like the Hawks to swing it around here. A 4.5 point line is pretty small all things considered and I think they should be able to top that marker to get some good value here.

France vs Lebanon

France to Win

As the tightest match in terms of odds taking place on the opening weekend of the Rugby League World Cup, I like the French side to grind their way through in Canberra. With games to come against Australia and England in pool play, a win here is massive for both sides as it will be the only way they can have a chance of getting out of the pool.

Minnesota Vikings vs Cleveland Browns

Minnesota Vikings to Win -9.5

The NFL’s fourth and final visit to London this season and the Vikings are heavy favourites to win this one. Fans that have travelled to Wembley and Twickenham have not seen the closest of contests yet with each game being a massive blowout. This game has the makings of another one sided contest with the Browns struggling to move the ball and the Vikings able to do enough to get home comfortably here.

Leicester vs Everton

Leicester to Win

Two sides that have already sacked their manager this season face off in the Premier League’s Sunday feature fixture. It will be the first game for new Leicester boss Claude Puel and he should have a positive impact on the squad that have been inconsistent at best since claiming the Premier League title. Everton sacking Ronald Koeman might rejuvenate the playing squad but as it stands they look outmatched by the Foxes, especially at the King Power Stadium.
