Moe - Race 7 4:30pm AEDT

No. 4 Vainstream

Vainstream did plenty wrong on debut at Moe, but he was still able to lead from start to finish and he never really looked like getting beaten. He still has a great deal of scope to improve on that effort and he has far more upside than the rest of this field. Noel Callow will take him straight to the front and he will be very tough to run down.

Moe - Race 8 5.00pm AEDT

No. 5 Princess Anacheeva

Princess Anacheeva got too far back at Kilmore last start, but she was still able to make up good ground late in what was a tougher race than this. She has a turn-of-foot that can’t be matched by any other horse in this field and as long as she can stay touch early she will finish over the top of them late.

Cranbourne - Race 1 6.30pm AEDT

No. 5 Lady Mahala

Lady Mahala has generally raced in better company than this and this is her opportunity to claim a maiden race win. She was only narrowly denied at Ballarat last start and if she is able to replicate that performance she will be very tough to beat. She makes her own luck right on the speed and the stable is flying.

Cranbourne - Race 6 9.00pm AEDT

No. 5 Rene

Rene returned to winning form with a fast-finishing effort at Ballarat last start and he is a horse that still has plenty of upside. He does map to get a nice trail into this race and the step-up to the mile will suit. He will be finishing over the top of them late.
