Armidale - Race 5 3:40pm AEDT

No. 11 Dubai Dusk

Dubai Dusk may be a ten-year-old with 83 starts under his belt, but he still goes into this race at Armidale as a genuine winning chance. He was not disgraced last start at Canterbury and before that he recorded a comfortable win at this level. The barrier trial between race starts should help switch him on.

Armidale - Race 6 4.15pm AEDT

No. 5 Pomme La Belle

Pomme La Belle absolutely bolted in to win at Armidale last start and if she is able to replicate that effort she will be very tough to beat. She has drawn a wide barrier, but she has the early speed that is required to take up a forward position. If she can cross this field she will prove very tough to beat.

Armidale - Race 7 4.50pm AEDT

No. 1 Puzzling Wonder

This is the easiest race that Puzzling Wonder has contested in some time and he has an excellent opportunity to return to winning form. He won the Kayuga Cup two starts ago at Muswellbrook and he excuses last start when he failed to fire in the Aberdeen Cup. He will take up the running in the early stages of the race and will prove tough to run down late.

Armidale - Race 8 5.25pm AEDT

No. 2 Cool Prince

Cool Prince does not win out of turn, but he is an ultra-consistent galloper that finds himself in a very winnable race this afternoon. He was almost knocked over last start at Tamworth, but he was still able to find the line strongly and a repeat of that effort would make him very tough to beat.
