Warwick Farm - Race 2 1:35pm AEDT
Limbo Soul returned to the races with a credible third place finish behind She Will Reign in the Inglis Sprint and this is a genuine drop in class. She has always been a filly that has looked to have plenty of potential and trainer Tony Martin has some big goals for her this campaign. She makes her own luck right on the speed and can return to winning form.
Warwick Farm - Race 7 4.40pm AEDT
Groundbreak went to another level at the end of his Spring campaign and if he can bring that sort of form back to the races this preparation he will prove very tough to beat. He trialed nicely ahead of his racing return and he maps to get a lovely run right on the speed with Brenton Avdulla in the saddle.
Ballarat - Race 6 6.30pm AEDT
The scratchings of Ruby Sea and Eagle Spirit have taken the quality right out of this race and it gives Parsifal an excellent chance to make it two wins on the trot. He relished the step-up to 1400 metres last start to record a maiden race win and he gets another opportunity over the same track and distance this evening. If he is able to replicate his last start effort, he will prove tough to beat.
Ballarat - Race 7 7.00pm AEDT
Call Me Handsome was only narrowly beaten by Australian Guineas runner-up Peaceful State a couple of starts back and he has since won at Ballarat. He is a horse that is racing in simply outstanding form for this level and I would be surprised if the $3.30 that is currently on offer remains.
