Mornington - Race 3 2.00pm AEST

No.8 Olympic Lad

Olympic Lad drops back in class after he finished fourth without having a great deal of luck at Ladbrokes Park last start. He maps to get a lovely run in transit with Regan Bayliss in the saddle and this really isn’t the strongest race. He should prove too strong for his rivals this afternoon.

Mornington - Race 8 4:30pm AEST

No. 6 Rock 'em Sock 'em

Rock ’em Sock ’em recorded a maiden race win at Echuca two starts ago and last start at Werribee he was held-up for a run and was a good thing beaten. He doesn’t need to get as far back from barrier five and he has the turn-of-foot required to finish over the top of his rivals late.

Mornington - Race 9 5.00pm AEST

No. 6 Pamela Joy

Pamela Joy does not win out of turn, but she finds herself in a very winnable contest at Mornington this afternoon. This is the weakest race that she has contested in some time and she has raced well fresh in the past. Daniel Moor will give her a lovely run in transit and there are few jockeys in the country that are in better form after he rode the quaddie at Caulfield on Saturday.

Grafton - Race 7 4.15pm AEST

No. 13 Central Witness

Central Witness produced a career best performance to win at Coffs Harbour last start and if he can replicate that sort of performance he will be very tough to beat. He is a horse that rarely produces a poor performance and he meets a fairly weak field at Grafton this afternoon.
