Daily Racing Tips – Thursday 19th April

Wyong - Race 1 12.35pm AEST

No. 2 Cormac

Cormac raced well without winning during his maiden racing campaign and the fact that trainer Chris Waller has only given him the one barrier trial ahead of his return to the races is a big positive. On exposed form he does have a genuine class edge over this field and if he performs at his best he will be very tough to beat.

Wyong - Race 3 1.50pm AEST

No. 4 Fudgewedge

Fudgewedge finished a close second over this track and distance in what was her only race start to date. She has trialed well ahead of her return to the races and if she is able to perform at a similar level to her debut, she should be too strong for what is not the strongest field.

Wyong - Race 7 4.20pm AEST

No.2 Heat Haze

Heat Haze produced an impressive performance to win the final start of her maiden racing campaign and she is a filly with plenty of promise. She has trialed nicely ahead of her return to the races and she makes her own luck right on the speed. She has an excellent chance to make a winning return to the races.

Wyong - Race 8 4:55pm AEST

No. 3 Montrachet

Montrachet returned to the races with a classy win at Rosehill Gardens and the form coming out of that race has been very strong. This race is no tougher, she makes her own luck right on the speed and she has the benefit of Brenton Avdulla in the saddle. She is a safe bet to make it back-to-back wins.
