Bendigo - Race 5 3.30pm AEST
Divine Sanction drops back in class after a couple of tough efforts at Ladbrokes Park and before that he won the Edenhope Cup in impressive fashion. There is no fitter horse in this contest and if he is able to produce his best form he will very tough to beat.
Bendigo - Race 6 4.00pm AEST
Allspice recorded a dominant victory at Terang two starts ago and was only narrowly denied by Mr Storm after a brave effort at Ballarat. He is a horse that still has plenty of upside and he will make his own luck right on the speed with Dean Yendall in the saddle. There is no reason that he can’t return to winning form.
Bendigo - Race 7 4.30pm AEST
Bryneich does not have a great overall record and it has been a while between race starts, but he has won first-up in the past and on his best form he has a clear class edge over the rest of this field. The wide barrier draw is not ideal and he will need some luck in running, but this is the weakest race that he has contested in some time.
Bendigo - Race 8 5:00pm AEST
Secret Reward is well and truly over the odds at his current price of $9.50. He did produce a couple of high-rating performances during his maiden racing campaign and he has form around some quality gallopers. He maps to get a lovely run in transit with Brad Rawiller in the saddle and is a much better chance than the current odds suggest.
