Pakenham - Race 3 7:00pm AEST
Poster Man showed some promise on debut over this track and distance and he didn’t have a great deal of luck in running. He should take a fair amount of benefit from that performance and he maps to get a lovely run in transit with Luke Currie in the saddle. This is a weak race and he has an excellent chance to record a maiden race win.
Pakenham - Race 5 8.00pm AEST
French Skyline is something of a synthetic track specialist and both of her career wins have been on this type of surface. She led from start to finish to record an impressive win over this track and distance last start and there is no reason that she can’t replicate that sort of performance this evening.
Pakenham - Race 6 8:30pm AEST
It has been a long time between race starts for Youlong Yongxing, but there is no doubt that he is the class horse in this field and if he brings anything like his best form to the races he will prove tough to beat. He has an excellent record over 1000 metres and he has the early speed to take up a forward position from the wide barrier draw.
Pakenham - Race 7 9.00pm AEST
Buckhound finished his Summer campaign with a strong win at Pakenham and he always looked like a horse that would be better with more race under his belt. The wide barrier draw is some concern and there is no doubt that he will need some luck in running, but he is a horse with upside and he is well and truly over the odds in what is an open race.
