Las Vegas Golden Knights vs Winnipeg Jets
Both teams have taken their shots in the first two games of the series and the action moves to Vegas now, where the Golden Knights have a unique home ice advantage. They will need all the help they can get with recent trends showing a significant advantage for away sides. In the last nine games in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the away side is 8-1. Vegas however has a 4-1 record in their arena and I am backing them to repeat their performance from the last game and find a way to stifle the Jets.
Houston Rockets vs Golden State Warriors
Tuesday was the game we have been waiting to see from the Warriors, showing they can flip the switch and turn it on. James Harden was by and large phenomenal for the Rockets at home in Game 1 but it wasn’t anywhere near enough as Golden State just took over. To win this game the Rockets will need to get to around 120 points, which they are more than capable of but the Warriors are just too hard to back against.
Penrith Panthers vs Wests Tigers
Penrith enter this game on a three game winning run against the Wests Tigers and a good home record to justify their favouritism. With eight wins from their past nine home games there they are building up a solid intimidation factor at their ground. Wests did end their losing streak against North Queensland last weekend but Penrith is a step up over the Cowboys this year.
