Hawkesbury - Race 5 2:35pm AEST
Wisdom Tree is a lightly-raced horse that recorded a fairly impressive win at Newcastle last start. He should take plenty of improvement from that performance and he is a horse that does have plenty of upside. He maps to get a lovely run in transit with Christian Reith in the saddle and will be tough to hold-out.
Pakenham - Race 1 6.00pm AEST
Celestial King made his racing debut with a solid third at Caulfield and this is a genuine drop in class. The wide barrier draw isn’t ideal, but he did show early speed and Damian Lane can settle him in the first half of the speed. On exposed form, he is clearly the horse to beat.
Pakenham - Race 8 9.30pm AEST
Jesta Dream has recorded two wins on the trot and he showed a particular liking to synthetic surface at Pakenham. There is no doubt that the Bon Hoffa gelding is racing in career best form and he maps to get a beautiful trail into this race for the second start in a row. There is no reason that he can’t make it three wins on the trot.
Townsville - Race 6 4.05pm AEST
Grey Missile has been racing well and he finds himself in a very winnable contest this afternoon. He was only narrowly denied by Reactant at Townsville last start and he should relish the step-up to 1300 metres for the first time in his racing career. He makes his own luck right on the speed and this is his chance to return to winning form.
