Dubbo - Race 1 12.20pm AEST
Bezel was only narrowly denied in the Gooree Park Cup at Mudgee last start and the winner of that race Penske went on to win at Randwick earlier in the week. This is the easiest race that Bezel has probably evert contested and if he brings anything like his best form to the races he will prove tough to beat.
Dubbo - Race 7 4.05pm AEST
Velaro has recorded two wins from as many starts this preparation and he scored an impressive win at Wellington last start. He is a horse that still has the scope tBehold o improve and he maps to get a lovely run in transit in this contest with Chad Lever in the saddle. There is no reason that he can’t win again.
Geelong - Race 1 12:30pm AEST
Northset has improved each time that he has been seen at the races this preparation and he gets the chance to break through for a maiden race win in what is a fairly weak affair at Geelong this afternoon. He will get a long way back from the wide barrier draw, but he does have a nice turn-of-foot and he can finish over the top of his rivals.
Geelong - Race 3 1.30pm AEST
Behold The Queen has joined the Lindsay Park team after starting his career under the care of Bjorn Baker. He has raced well without winning in New South Wales and his two barrier trials since arriving in Victoria have been excellent. He is clearly the horse to beat in what is far from the strongest race.
