Port Adelaide vs Western Bulldogs
7.50pm AEST

Western Bulldogs to Cover the Line (+37.5)

Port Adelaide are back on their home patch once again after recording a comfortable win over Richmond at the Adelaide Oval last week. The Bulldogs have been able to enjoy a much-needed week off which they will hope have fixed their goal kicking woes. What should keep this game close is the fact Port are the lowest scoring side in the top eight averaging just over 82 points per game. If the Bulldogs are able to kick a few more straight shots they will have no trouble keeping it inside the line, but Port will grind out a fourth quarter victory here.

Parramatta Eels vs South Sydney Rabbitohs
7.50pm AEST

South Sydney to Cover the Line (-9.5)

South Sydney are one of the form sides in the NRL right now with six wins in a row although they rode their luck against a struggling Titans side last week. What they did do in that game however was keep their stellar defensive record intact holding yet another side under that magical 20 point mark. The Eels ended their winless run against the Cowboys last week but have averaged just 12 points per game in their past five matches and Souths should be able to keep them in that range once again.

Russia vs Saudi Arabia
1.00am AEST

Russia to Win to Nil

The 2018 World Cup is here and things get started with Saudi Arabia taking on tournament hosts Russia. Working in favour for Russia is the tournament host has never lost the opening game, with South Africa being the only side held to a draw by Mexico eight years ago. Their preparation going into this game has not been ideal failing to win any of their last three matches but with the occasion of the tournament opener, it will make them tough to beat and Saudi Arabia do not travel well.
