North Queensland Cowboys vs New Zealand Warriors
6.00pm AEST

New Zealand Warriors to Win @ $1.80

What number do you want to believe, the Warriors losing their last two in Townsville or their 5-1 record away from home this year. North Queensland have won just twice at home all season in a place they are usually very strong. The line here is slight because of the Warriors recent history up north, not to mention the Cowboys winning last weekend but the away side are too good value to pass up head to head.

Sydney Swans vs West Coast Eagles
7.50pm AEST

Sydney to Win @ $1.55

Sydney’s slow start to the season is in the rear view mirror with Buddy Franklin looking like he is back in form as they prepare to take on Josh Kennedy and the West Coast Eagles. This has the makings of a high scoring game where the last kick wins and Sydney will have the confidence of beating the Eagles in Round 1 over in Perth. This is going to be an excellent game to watch and Sydney should get home.

Spain vs Portugal
4.00am AEST

Draw @ $3.10

Two European heavyweights face off in their tournament opener and Spain will be looking for their first opening match win since 2006. Portugal on the other side enter this game as defending champions and have the best player on the pitch in Cristiano Ronaldo, not to mention a squad that will have been buoyed in winning the Euro final without him. As it is the first match of the tournament for both sides, expect this one to be a cagey affair with both teams trying to get out of this with their tournament hopes intact.
