Canterbury - Race 1 12.50pm AEST
Jen Rules makes her racing debut today and has been very well supported to win at her first time at the races. The Snowden trained Redoute’s Choice filly has had two trials leading into this, winning her most recent impressively. She has drawn well and has the advantage of McEvoy steering.
Canterbury - Race 2 1.25pm AEST
Our racing expert, Mark Shean, spotted this I Am Invincible gelding out in his Trial Reviews segment a couple of weeks back and he has been well backed to win his first-up assignment here today. He had a trip to Flemington in the Autumn where he ran third in a Listed race and was beaten by a couple of good ones in Prairie Fire and Khuulasa. He has had two trials leading into this and looks very well placed.
Canterbury - Race 3 2:00pm AEST
This Sebring filly has been very impressive in her three starts to date including an easy win at Warwick Farm last start. She was given a trial in between runs before she broke through for her maiden win last start and she should be rock hard fit going into this today. She looks to have this race at her mercy as she attempts to work through the grades.
Canterbury - Race 6 3.45pm AEST
King Tomlola can complete his picket fence today as he shoots for his forth win in a row. He is a big, bulky gelding who has been eating up the ground late with his large stride. He is proven on the heavy track and has won at this track and distance and has been well supported in early betting. He’s right in this at each-way odds.
