Doomben - Race 1 11.34pm AEST
Bare Naked Lady looks a very impressive young filly. She won the Inglis Challenge at Scone in a canter and has had a nice trial in between runs for this assignment. She has drawn well and Corey brown can place the filly wherever he feels as she looks very adaptable. She looks better than these and can go on to bigger and better things.
Doomben - Race 4 1.19pm AEST
No Annamossity ticks all the boxes for me in this race today. He was a strong winner over the track and distance last start and drops down 3 kilos for this. He should get a lovely run from barrier 3 and performs best on the dry surface. He really does look well placed and anything over $3 looks value to me.
Doomben - Race 8 3:58pm AEST
What a consistent mare Prompt Response has been for the Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott stable. She performed very well in her Autumn campaign which included a win in the Emancipation. She was brave in defeat in the Dane Ripper from a wide barrier and in unsuitable going. She gets both those things go her way here (barrier 3 & track good) and will be right in the finish.
Doomben - Race 9 4.33pm AEST
Malvern Estate has an excellent winning record as a race horse. He has won 6 times from his 11 starts and only missed the placings once which was over an unsuitable distance. He trialled very impressively leading into this race and he is unbeaten first-up. He is a great each way chance in a hot race to finish the day.
