Scone - Race 3 1.25pm AEST
Prince Of Thebes returned to the races with a promising second place finish behind Bangkok at Mudgee and there is no horse of that quality in this field. He has a strong second-up record and he maps to get a dream run in transit in this contest with Chad Lever in the saddle. This is his chance to return to winning form.
Scone - Race 4 2:05pm AEST
Mark My Word wasn’t beaten far at Scone last start and his form before that this preparation had been excellent. He is another horse that looks set to get the run of the race from barrier six and if he is able to maintain the form that he has shown throughout this campaign then he will prove very tough to beat.
Scone - Race 7 3.55pm AEST
Kamehameha won over 900 metres at Cessnock last start and he is clearly has a liking to these short-course sprint trips. He does have a fair amount of early speed and he should be able to cross this field from the wide barrier draw. The favourite Tornado Of Souls does look a touch vulnerable at $2.70 and I would rather back Kamehameha each-way at $10.
Scone - Race 8 4.35pm AEST
Keemon has not produced a poor performance during his racing career to date and there is no reason that he can’t return to winning form this afternoon. The form coming out of his past couple of starts have been strong and he maps to get a dream run in transit from the inside barrier draw.
