Caulfield - Race 3 1.00pm AEST

No. 14 Mantastic

Mantastic has raced well without winning since he arrived in Australia and he is well-placed to win at Caulfield this Saturday. He did plenty of work and was caught wide throughout his last start effort at the same venue, but he was still only narrowly denied. He will be flying home late and tough to hold-out.

Caulfield - Race 6 2:50pm AEST

No. 3 Mount Kilcoy

Mount Kilcoy was only narrowly denied in the Silver Bowl Series Final at Flemington last weekend and with a better run in transit he would have proven far too strong for Mr Money Bags. I like the fact that trainer Darren Weir has him on the quick back-up and a repeat of his last start effort would make him very tough to beat.

Caulfield - Race 7 3.30pm AEST

No. 6 Jukebox

Jukebox has an excellent record and he wasn’t beaten far in the Danehill Stakes and the Blue Sapphire during the Spring. He has still only had the six race starts and has an enormous amount of upside. This isn’t the strongest edition of the Ladbrokes Sir John Monash Stakes and he can make a winning return to the races.

Caulfield - Race 9 4.45pm AEST

No. 3 Theanswermyfriend

We have seen the improvement that Nature Strip has made since he was transferred to the care of Darren Weir and I am intrigued to see what he can do with Theanswermyfriend. His recent form has been nothing short of dreadful, but his best form is good enough to win this contest and we all know how much Weir can improve a tried horse.
