Daily Racing Tips – Saturday 28th July
Rosehill - Race 2 12.20pm AEST
No. 1 Sweet Victory
Sweet Victory was cramped for room at a vital stage in her last start at Rosehill in a hot race that was won by Vaucluse Bay. If she had of got the run that that horse received, she would have finished a lot closer. She drops down in class here against her own age and should go close.
Rosehill - Race 5 2.05pm AEST
No. 5 Condor Heroes
Condor Heroes returns to the races after almost a year in a very winnable race for the Gerald Ryan stable. As a two year old the colt ran second to Property in the Kindergarten Stakes and the money suggests that he will run well here. His first trial leading into this prep was hard to miss and he looks well placed here.
Morphettville - Race 6 3.51pm AEST
No. 7 Sunlight
The market is suggesting that this is a race in two and I would agree however I think the punters have this one wrong. Sunlight has too many positives when compared to Nature Strip in this race. She is a proven classy filly at the top level, has drawn well, gets a whopping 7 kilos off the top weight and has trialled beautifully heading into this. The other thing to look at is how they will map. There has been talk of trying to get Nature Strip to settle therefor I have Sunlight setting the tempo in front with little pressure which is a big advantage.
