Pakenham - Race 3 2:25pm AEST

No. 12 Light Parade

Light Parade made her racing debut with a very tough second place finish at Bendigo and she didn’t handle the soft going at Ladbrokes Park last start. She was still able to produce a credible performance and a repeat of either of those efforts would make her very tough to beat in this contest this afternoon.

Pakenham - Race 4 2.55pm AEST

No. 9 Nicci By Name

Nicci By Name chased home the promising Fille De Charlie on debut at The Valley and the corm coming out of that race has been strong. A repeat of that sort of effort would give her a genuine edge over the rest of this field and she maps to get a lovely run in transit with Nikita Beriman in the saddle.

Pakenham - Race 5 3.30pm AEST

No. 1 Chavuma

Chavuma has a great record on the Synthetic racing surface and he has been in excellent form this preparation. He simply doesn’t run a bad race and he has shown in the past that he is more than capable of lugging big weights. He is the class horse in this field and there is no reason that he can’t return to winning form.

Pakenham - Race 6 4.00pm AEST

No. 9 Robe De Fete

Robe De Fete broke through for a maiden race win over this track and distance last start and he ran nice time in doing so. That was only his second race start and he still has plenty of upside. He maps to get a nice trial into this contest with Beau Mertens in the saddle and he should prove too classy for this field.
