Arizona Cardinals vs Denver Broncos
The Broncos cut it close against the Rams last week, taking the NFL’s last remaining undefeated team to the brink. This week, it’s a tough road trip to face a Cardinals offense desperate for a win. Denver relies solely on their running game, which so far, has been fairly flat away from home. This is also a contest between two mediocre quarterbacks in Josh Rosen and Case Keenum, both of which endured games to forget last week. Points should prove scarce.
Adelaide 36ers vs Sydney Kings
Rough weekend for the Kings to start their season. Andrew Bogut fouled out against this same 36ers side last weekend, but surprisingly, the odds remain dead even after Adelaide pinched the victory last week. The 36ers have been money at home in recent history winning 13 of their last 16 games on home court, and with the Kings set for a bit of an up and down season, Adelaide look like the side to back.
Adelaide United vs. Sydney FC
The Sky Blues are the early season favourites once again, bolstering their squad behind some strong international signings. Jop van der Linden should further strengthen Sydney’s midfield, and although they’ll be challenged by an equally strong Adelaide side tonight, it’s very tough to back against Sydney and their strong 4-1-0 record against United in their last five games.
