Milwaukee Brewers vs Los Angeles Dodgers
Do-or-die now for the Brewers. Win and they’ll force a Game 7, lose, and it’s back-to-back trips to the World Series for the Dodgers. Home-field advantage is huge for Milwaukee, and we’re treated to a great pitching match up between Hyun-Jin Ryu and Wade Miley. Both guys have enjoyed flawless postseason campaigns, making this one a good Unders bet with runs likely hard to come by.
Tonga vs. Australia
The Aussies were touched up last week by the Kiwis in what was a disappointing display from the new-look green and gold. A loss to an explosive Tonga side wouldn’t be the least bit surprising, but neither would an early try from Valentine Holmes for the second week in a row. Tonga’s forwards are a tough match up, but if they spend too much time focusing on overpowering the Aussies down the middle, it might leave Holmes a chance to pounce.
Melbourne Victory vs Melbourne City
We get our first taste of this new-look, and very expensive, Victory line up, and what better way to welcome Keisuke Honda than with a good old fashioned Melbourne Derby? Unfortunately for City, they’ve lost four of their last five meetings against their rival, and with the Victory only growing stronger over the break, this looks a bit beyond them.
