Ipswich - Race 3 2.13pm AEDT
The Real Boss is something of an Ipswich specialist and he has recorded two wins from his three race starts the venue. He is a horse that does have speed to burn and Carly Frater-Hill will go forward on him in the early stages. That is the ideal pattern at Ipswich and there is no doubt that he will give his rivals something to catch.
Warwick Farm - Race 5 4.20pm AEDT
Miss Shanti doesn’t have a great overall record, but she is a consistent mare that very rarely produces a poor performance. She has form around some quality gallopers this campaign and there are few fitter horses in this field. She will still need a touch of luck from the wide barrier draw, but this is still an excellent chance to return to winning form.
Warwick Farm - Race 6 5:00pm AEDT
Absolute Ripper is a genuine 1000 metres specialist and she has a good chance in what is a very open race. She has recorded five wins from her nine race starts over this distance and she won at Warwick Farm a couple of starts ago. She makes her own luck right on the speed and she is a better chance than her current odds suggest.
Ladbrokes Park - Race 6 6.15pm AEDT
The Gatting Ball has been extremely consistent this campaign and he found the nicely when he finished second behind Khartoum at Ballarat last start. He will settle in the second half of the field from the wide barrier draw, but that is his usual pattern and he has the turn-of-foot to finish over the top of his rivals.
