Los Angeles Chargers vs Baltimore Ravens
Chargers to Cover The Line (-4.5 Points)
The AFC West crown is still on the line for the 11-3 Chargers, but they’ll have to take care of the Ravens at home this week if they wish to blow past the Chiefs. Los Angeles are 5-2 at the Stubhub Centre this season and should welcome back Melvin Gordon from injury. The Ravens are the third-best team in the league when it comes to stopping the run, so the Chargers won’t have everything their own way on the ground. LA are 4-2 at the line against Baltimore however, making them a nice bet to cover in what should be a very close and low-scoring game.
Sydney Kings v Melbourne United
Melbourne To win @ $2.35
The top spot on the ladder is within reach for the 10-4 Kings following a successful win over Perth last week. Likewise, United have found form in recent weeks earning a victory of their own over the ladder leading Wildcats last Monday. It’s almost surprising the market isn’t a little closer considering Melbourne have beaten the Kings twice already this season, not to mention their 7-3 record as the away underdog vs. Sydney. With all that in mind, the upset looks a great pick.
Everton v Tottenham
Tottenham To Win @ $2.25
Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Arsenal in the League Cup midweek has the Spurs looking sharp ahead of their trip to Goodison to face the Toffees. Tottenham have also won three straight over Everton, with their last loss coming way back in 2012. As the favourite, Spurs are 11-2-3 in away games over the last 12 months, and with Harry Kane running riot over the Gunners just three days ago, it’s hard to see Tottenham losing this one.
