Vanderbilt Commodores vs Baylor Bears
12.00pm AEDT

Vanderbilt to Cover The Line (-4 Points)

There’s no denying Baylor has the offence capable of an upset, but can they really take down the Commodores? Vanderbilt are riding sky high right now after winning three of their final four games, which included a statement 38-13 win over Tennessee at home. The Bears have hit a serious points scoring drought that makes them the underdogs in this bowl game, while Vandy’s strong 3-0 record as the spread favourites during the regular season makes them a nice bet to cover.

Hobart Hurricanes v Sydney Thunder
6.15pm AEDT

Hurricanes To Win @ $2.00

Both the Hurricanes and the Thunder have started the season 2-0 setting us up for a blockbuster clash in Hobart tonight. It’s tough to pick a winner, and it appears the bookies have are finding it difficult to split the two. The one thing that does look reliable however, is Hobart’s bowling attack. James Faulkner looks in fine form following his three wicket haul against Brisbane over the weekend, giving the Hurricanes a serious upset chance.

Melbourne Victory v Wellington Phoenix
6:50pm AEDT

Melbourne Victory Clean Sheet @ $2.50

A win for the Victory tonight would see them leapfrog the Glory for first place, albeit momentarily. The fifth placed Phoenix have somehow strung together three straight wins, but considering Melbourne are undefeated in their last seven matches, it’s no surprise to see them open as the favourites. In this scenario, the Victory are 10-1-3 as the home favourite, and are also 11-2-2 against Wellington. This shapes up as an easy win for the hosts.
