Daily Racing Tips – Thursday 10th January
Geelong - Race 2 1.00pm AEDT
No. 5 Mutombo
Mutombo did a fair bit wrong when he returned to the races at Sale last start and he was still only narrowly denied a maiden race win. There is no doubt that he still has plenty to learn, but the talent is definitely there and he still has plenty of upside. A repeat of his last start effort would make him tough to beat.
Geelong - Race 7 4.30pm AEDT
No. 1 Kissee Mee
Kissee Mee returned to winning form with a sharp effort at Kyneton and there is an argument to be made that she is racing in career best form. This is a very open and not particularly strong race, which makes the $6 available for a Kissee Mee victory really appeal.
Geelong - Race 8 5:00pm AEDT
No. 5 Keysor
Keysor does not have a great winning record, but he has the chance to return to winning form this afternoon. He didn’t have a great deal of luck at Seymour last start and there was still plenty of merit in the performance. This is his third start for Darren Weir and it would not surprise if he was now at peak fitness.
Rockhampton - Race 4 4:35pm AEDT
No. 2 Ragazzo Del Corsa
Ragazzao Del Corsa has raced consistently without winning this campaign and he has the chance to breakthrough in this contest. He maps to get the run of the race and does look the class runner in this field. This is his opportunity to return to winning form and he may never have a better chance to do so.
