Doomben - Race 5 4.35pm AEDT

No. 1 Lady Bing

Lady Bing recorded a dominant win at Ipswich first-up and she had excuses when she was beaten after being caught wide at the Gold Coast last start. She should be able to go forward in a race that does not have a great deal of speed and she will prove tough to run down by her rivals late.

Doomben - Race 7 5:45pm AEDT

No. 7 Kittie Kins

Kittie Kins drops in class after she wasn’t disgraced behind Mishani Hustler in the Ruby Jewel Prelude and on her best form she does have a genuine class edge over the rest of this field. She has the tactical versatility to handle the wide barrier draw and the fact that she has Brad Stewart in the saddle is a positive. She is deserving of her status as a short-priced favourite.

Ladbrokes Park - Race 4 5.00pm AEDT

No. 2 More Than Exceed

More Than Exceed is a horse with an excellent first-up record and he is set to return to the races in a very winnable contest this afternoon. He won a trial at Cranbourne in extremely impressive fashion and he is a horse that has been competitive at black-type level in the past. He maps to get a love run in transit and is great value at the current price.

Ladbrokes Park - Race 6 6:00pm AEDT

No. 4 Toorak Warrior

Toorak Warrior has raced well without winning in two race starts this campaign to date and he is ready to peak in this contest third-up. It was only the talented Jumbo Ozaki that beat him at Bendigo last start and there is no horse with that sort of ability in this field. He maps to get a dream run in transit and may never have a better chance to return to winning form.
