Daily Racing Tips – Tuesday 2nd April
Grafton - Race 4 3:05pm AEDT
No. 3 Dantga
Dantga led from start to finish to record a dominant win at Grafton last start and a repeat of that performance would make him very tough to beat. The majority of his best form has come at this trip and he has now recorded four wins from his nine race starts at Grafton. He may be an eight-year-old, but he is arguably racing in career best form.
Grafton - Race 6 4.15pm AEDT
No. 2 Longtga
Longtga does not have a great overall winning record, but he is rarely far away at this level and the $6 currently available is well and truly over the odds. He has missed the placings in only two of his race starts and he meets a very weak field in this contest this afternoon.
Grafton - Race 7 4.50pm AEDT
No. 1 Hayburner
Hayburner was not disgraced behind Sultry Testa at the Gold Coast last start and this is a genuine drop in class. He has only recorded the one race win, but he does have far more talent than that record suggests and he has easily the most upside of any horse in this field. He maps to get the run of the race with Ben Looker in the saddle.
Grafton - Race 8 5:30pm AEDT
No. 5 Glamorous Miss
The scratchings have really taken the quality out of this field and it leaves Glamorous Miss as the clear standout. She relished the step-up to 1700 metres to win at Grafton last start and a repeat of that performance would make her very tough to beat in this contest.
