QTIS 2yo C&G Handicap (1000m)

Well Prepare has drawn a nice barrier here from a tricky start and will find this a lot easier than his last start sixth in Listed company during the Summer Carnival. Conquering Judas is stepping up in class after an impressive maiden win at the Gold Coast but has to overcome a wide gate. Class Of Royalty won a Gold Coast trial on Monday and Chico Milagro is a first starter from the Tony Gollan stable.

QTIS 2yo Fillies Handicap (1000m)

Epaumada is the winner of her two race day appearances and looks the one to beat again. Longbottom is the winner of her only race start at Musswellbrook and has earned her chance in the city. Bold Eos and Say Hay have finished just behind the placegetters at their most recent starts and can be thereabouts again.

BenchMark 75 Handicap (2200m)

Trainer Chris Waller has two strong chances with Allcash and Wu Gok. Allcash has been placed three of his last four starts over a staying trip and Wu Gok was a winner over 2400m at the Gold Coast before a second over 2200m at the Sunshine Coast. Sir Barnabus is a last start Doomben winner over 2200m while Meteorologist heads to town on the back of a win at Grafton over 2220m.

Class 3 Plate (1200m)

Dream Kisses has a recent second and a win at the mid-weeks at Doomben over 1200m and has earned her chance in Saturday company. Mail Escort has been placed at his last two starts at Doomben and will get the run of the race from barrier two. Intrinsic is fitter for one run back from a spell and Vienna Moon is a last start Sunshine Coast Class 1 winner.

Class 3 Plate (1200m)

Bachelor’s Art has fair Gold Coast form and with Jeff Lloyd in the saddle will be hard to beat. The consistent Pizone gets in nicely with Baylee Nothdurft’s 2kg claim, River Racer has the winkers on and has drawn the rails and Rabbit Hunter is also in the mix.

Race 6 - 1:58pm AEST

QTIS 3yo Plate (1400m)

Racecourse Road was a very impressive all the way winner at the Gold Coast and gets his chance to repeat that effort with Jeff Lloyd in the saddle. Defence Missile has been thereabouts of late and will get a good run from a handy draw. Crafty Spirit is up to Saturday class after a mid-week Doomben win and A Man To Match is resuming and watch for him running on at the end.

Class 6 Handicap (1600m)

Trainer Chris Waller has a strong hand here with five of the fourteen runners. It is hard to separate his top three in See The Master, a last start Eagle Farm fourth and Le Juge and Mazaz who finished first and fourth in a 1600m Doomben Class 6 last start. High Degree could be the one to spoil the Waller party.

Open Handicap (1000m)

Belflyer has plenty of weight but has a very good first up record, is a four times winner over the 1000m and will get every chance from a handy barrier. Fiery Heights has been freshened up after a fifth over 1200m in a Group 3 sprint at Rosehill and will appreciate Corey Bayliss’ 3kg claim. From Within has a fair record over the short course and Straturbo is a winner over this course and distance.

Open Handicap (1400m)

Winning form is good form and it is hard to go past Tonsor, the winner of his last three starts at Canterbury, Warwick Farm and Doomben. Courtza King always runs a handy race, Scallopini races well this track and Zamex is one for the exotics.

NMW Handicap (1400m)

Monaco Playboy ran his best race for some time for a last start second at Doomben and has each way claims again if he can repeat that effort. Constant Flight is mister consistency with two Doomben placings this time in and will be in the mix again. Happy Hooves needs luck from an awkward draw and All From Scrap was beaten a nose last Saturday in Toowoomba.
