Wagga - Race 3 2.10pm AEDT
Hard Core drops in class after racing fairly in the Canberra Guineas and a Highway Handicap at Royal Randwick. This is the weakest race that he has contested since his last race win and on his best form he does have a genuine class edge over the rest of this field. He maps to get a nice run in transit and should be able to return to winning form.
Wagga - Race 5 3:30pm AEDT
Who’s Knocking started her Spring campaign with two wins in Canberra and she was only narrowly denied by Snippets Land in the National Sprint. You can forgive her last start effort on the heavy track at Rosehill Gardens and she is another that does look to have a clear edge on her rivals in this contest.
Wagga - Race 6 4.15pm AEDT
Animalia was not beaten far by Supernova at Rosehill Gardens last start and there is no horse of that quality in this field. He will need some luck in running from what is a fairly tricky barrier draw, but this is a big drop in quality and he is capable of high-rating performance on his day. The current price is over the odds.
Terang - Race 7 4:25pm AEDT
Golden Authority won the Colac Cup a couple of starts ago and he was not disgraced in the Wangaratta Cup. His made up decent ground late to finish ninth at Flemington last start and there are few fitter horses in this race. This isn’t the strongest edition of the Terang Cup and he can return to winning form.
