Hawkesbury - Race 2 1:25pm AEST

No. 1 Canzonet

Canzonet showed some promise during his maiden racing campaign and his barrier trial win at Kembla Grange ahead of his return to the races was excellent. This is not a particularly strong race and he has more upside than the rest of this field. He will settle in the second half of the field and storm home late.

Hawkesbury - Race 4 2:40pm AEST

No. 5 Waka

Waka finished second in what was a high-rating race at Wyong earlier this year and she clearly does have some talent. She has not really produced a poor performance during her racing career to date and she caught the eye without being really tested in her two barrier trials at Randwick. She is well-placed to make a winning return to the races.

Hawkesbury - Race 6 3:50pm AEST

No. 7 Fast Train

Fast Train has been freshened-up since a narrow defeat at Kembla Grange last start and the drop back to 1600 metres does look ideal. He has drawn wide, but he does have early speed and he can take up a wide position from the wide barrier draw. The $9.50 currently available is well and truly over the odds.

Hawkesbury - Race 7 4.25pm AEST

No. 9 Fairy Me Home

Fairy Me Home ran on strongly against the pattern of the race to record a maiden race win at Gosford last start and he should take good benefit from that win. He will settle in the second half of the field from the wide barrier draw, but he does have a nice turn-of-foot and he can finish over the top of his rivals.
