Geelong - Race 4 2:30pm AEST
Rainbow Thief finished fifth on debut at Geelong and he showed enough in that performance to suggest that he does have some talent. He did plenty wrong in that race and he should take good benefit from that experience. With natural improvement, he will be tough to beat in what is a fairly open race.
Geelong - Race 5 3:00pm AEST
The scratching of Cafe Tortoni leaves Muzzleflash as easily the horse to beat in this contest. He won on debut at Geelong on a heavy track and he will race in identical conditions this afternoon. There is no reason that he can’t make it two wins on the trot.
Geelong - Race 6 3:30pm AEST
Rube Bridges was the first horse across the line at Moe last start, before she had the race taken off her in protest, and she is clearly racing in career best form. She will need some luck in running from the wide barrier draw, but she does have early speed and it would not surprise to see her take up the running and give her rivals something to catch.
Geelong - Race 7 4:00pm AEST
Make It Count has recorded two wins on the trot and she showed a lovely turn-of-foot to win at Moe last start. I like the fact that she is staying at the same distance and the wet track at Geelong will not be a problem. He maps to get a lovely run in transit and he can continue his winning ways.
