Caulfield - Race 3 12:20pm AEST

No. 2 Groundbreak

Groundbreak will need some luck in running from the wide barrier draw, but he is outstanding value at the current Fixed Odds + 30% price of $11. He produced an excellent effort to win at Flemington first-up and the All Too Hard gelding generally goes to another level second-up. It would not surprise to see him end up in stronger races than this one.

Caulfield - Race 5 1:30pm AEST

No. 3 Organza

Organza may never have a better chance to return to winning form. She finished in the placings in both the Dark Jewel Classic and the Gai Waterhouse Classic and this is a genuine drop in quality. She maps to get a lovely run in transit with Craig Williams in the saddle and she has a clear class edge over the rest of this field.

Caulfield - Race 8 3:30pm AEST

No. 1 Jungle Edge

It is set to be a fairly wet track at Caulfield and Jungle Edge will get his preferred softish track for the Sir John Monash Stakes. He beat Malibu Style to win at Ladbrokes Park a couple of starts ago and he was not disgraced in the Winter Dash. Michael Poy will take him straight to the front and he will be tough to run down.

Doomben - Race 4 1:23pm AEST

No. 10 Sunday Session

Jeff Lloyd will farewell the saddle at the end of today’s meeting and Sunday Session could potentially be his last winner. Sunday Session will take benefit from this run and will probably be better over further, but his two trials ahead of his return to the races have been excellent and he showed plenty of class during his most recent campaign.
