Devonport - Race 1 12:20pm AEST

No. 1 Century Arrow

Century Arrow produced a career best performance to score a dominant win at Devonport last start and a repeat of that effort would make him very tough to beat. He has plenty of early speed and he should have no trouble taking up the running in the early stages of this contest.

Devonport - Race 4 2:20pm AEST

No. 1 I’m Wesley

I’m Wesley will carry a big weight in this contest, but he does have a clear class edge over the rest of this field. He trialed nicely behind Mystic Journey at the start of the week and he maps to get a lovely run in transit from barrier two. He is deserving of his status as a short-priced favourite and he will be tough to beat.

Devonport - Race 7 4:13pm AEST

No. 2 Westy

Westy showed plenty of toughness to return to winning form at Devonport last start and I don’t think that this contest is much tougher. Chris Graham will take him straight to the front in the early stages of this race and he has an outstanding record at this venue. He is over the odds at the current price.

Devonport - Race 8 4:48pm AEST

No. 1 Gee Gees Cricket

Gee Gees Cricket carried a big weight to win at Devonport last start and this is a similar quality of race. He will be able to find the lead comfortably in the early stages of this contest and Peter Lui will allow him to roll along in front. He isn’t the most consistent horse in the world, but he is capable of a strong effort on his day.
