Newcastle - Race 4 2:25pm AEST

No. 1 Wayupinthesky

Wayupinthesky was not disgraced behind a host of quality fillies in the Reisling Stakes on debut and she went on to record an impressive maiden win at Warwick Farm. On exposed form she does have a genuine class edge over the rest of this field and she maps to get a lovely run in transit from barrier one.

Newcastle - Race 6 3:40pm AEST

No. 2 Renalot

Renalot had no luck whatsoever when she returned to the races at Wyong and she produced an improved effort at Kembla Grange last start. She should now be at peak fitness third-up and she is well-placed to return to winning form. Barrier seven is ideal and she has the benefit of Nash Rawiller in the saddle.

Newcastle - Race 7 4:20pm AEST

No. 2 Rancho Notorious

Rancho Notorious may never have a better chance to record a maiden race win. He returned to the races with an excellent first-up effort at Warwick Farm and a repeat of that performance would make him very tough to beat in this contest. He has generally raced in stronger company than this and should have no excuses.

Newcastle - Race 8 4:55pm AEST

No. 6 Agosto

Agosto did plenty wrong when he made his Australian racing debut at Kembla Grange and was clearly going to be better over further, but he was still able to find the line strongly to record an impressive win. The step-up to 1890 metres is ideal for him and he will be storming home in the concluding stages.
