Ballarat - Race 1 1:30pm AEST

No. 5 Better Together

Better Together has improved each time that she has been seen at the races and she finished a gallant second at this track last start. The form coming out of this race has been strong and a repeat of that effort would make her tough to beat. Linda Meech will take her straight to the front and give her rivals something to chase.

Ballarat - Race 4 3:00pm AEST

No. 11 Snapdancer

Snapdancer made her racing debut at Pakenham at the start of the month and finished a more than credible second behind Sassy Salitage. She should take good improvement from that experience and she maps to get a lovely run in transit with Linda Meech in the saddle. She has an excellent chance to record a maiden race win.

Grafton - Race 3 2:20pm AEST

No. 10 The Actress

The Actress showed some ability during her maiden racing campaign and this is probably a weaker field than she faced in any of her previous starts. She will settle in the second half of the field from the wide barrier draw, but she does have a sharp turn-of-foot and she can finish over the top of her rivals late.

Grafton - Race 6 4:10pm AEST

No. 2 Saxophone

Saxophone is not the most consistent horse in the world, but he is capable of a strong effort on his day and his best form would give him an edge over the rest of this field. He has won at Grafton in the past and he maps to get a lovely run in transit with Matthew Paget in the saddle.
