Pakenham - Race 5 3:30pm AEST

No. 1 Duchess Grace

It has been a long time since Duchess Grace produced a poor performance and she finds herself in a winnable race this afternoon. She found the line very strongly at Ballarat last start and she doesn’t need to get as far back as she did in the run from barrier four. The big weight shouldn’t be an issue and she can record another race win.

Pakenham - Race 6 4:00pm AEST

No. 1 French Success

French Success has recorded two wins from her four race starts and there is no reason that she can’t make it two wins on the trot. She handled the all-weather track at Pakenham last start and I really don’t think that this race is much stronger. Barrier four is ideal and she will have every possible chance in the run.

Pakenham - Race 7 4:30pm AEST

No. 5 Biscara

Biscara is a better filly than her record suggests and she is deserving of her status as a short-priced favourite. She was finally able to record a maiden race win at Morphettville at the end of her debut campaign and she should take good benefit from that win. On exposed form she has a clear edge over the rest of this field and will prove tough to beat.

Pakenham - Race 8 5:00pm AEST

No. 1 Miss Belisa

Miss Belisa has generally produced her best form on the Synthetic racing surface and a couple of starts ago she produced a very impressive performance to win over the same track and distance. She maps to get a lovely run in transit with Noel Callow in the saddle and will have an excellent chance to return to winning form.
