Canterbury - Race 4 3:10pm AEST

No. 11 Subpoenaed

Subpoenaed impressed on debut in New Zealand and has since been transferred to the Chris Waller stable. She looked very professional in her barrier trial at Rosehill Gardens and the stable have been glowing in their praise for her. James McDonald in the saddle is a positive and she can make it two wins from as many starts.

Ladbrokes Park - Race 7 4:30pm AEST

No. 10 Too Good Too Hard

Too Good Too Hard recorded her maiden race win with an impressive performance at Sale and she returned to the races with a narrow second place finish behind Ray’s Dream at Ladbrokes Park last start. She ran the fastest closing sectionals of the race and the step-up to 1400 metres should be ideal for her.

Canterbury - Race 5 3:45pm AEST

No. 2 Don't Leave Me Out

The scratching of Catwalk leaves Don’t Leave Me Out as easily the horse to beat in this contest. He chased home the promising Taniko first-up and I like the fact that trainer Joe Pride has given him a barrier trial between race starts. The step-up to 1100 metres is ideal and he can return to winning form.

Canterbury - Race 6 4:20pm AEST

No. 5 Rock

Rock has only recorded the one race win, but he does have far more talent than his record suggests. He beat home Kolding last campaign and that horse went on to record a very impressive win in the Queensland Guineas. His barrier trial ahead of his return to the races was excellent and he is deserving of his status as a clear favourite.
